Famara Singhateh, RN BSN

Famara Singhateh has over 20 years of healthcare experience. He worked in all sectors of the Nursing profession and is a leader within the profession. He is a recipient of several awards including Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates (Atrius Health) Key Contributor Award, Daisy Award, Odessa City Outstanding Citizen of the year award, Texas, and more recently two-time recipient of Odessa Regional Medical Center (ORMC) Clinical Ladder Award.

Famara worked with 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, as a delegate and organizer advocating for quality healthcare and negotiating wage and benefit contracts in Boston. He served in several committee roles at Midland Memorial Hospital, Texas. He is a patient educator at Odessa Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and preceptor for nursing students. He is also a member of several committees at ORMC.

Famara is an Instructor for American Heart Association and American Red Cross Basic Life Support, CPR, Heart saver and is affiliated with Odessa College and ORMC.
He is a founding member, president and CEO of Yeriwah Mega Foundation. He is a non-profit Executive Leadership graduate. He is a Registered Nurse and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University. Famara is a member of The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. He is a Regional Consultant for Ambit energy and a member of the West Texas Power Group.
