Dr. Anand Reddy MD, MRCP (UK), FACP, FASN
Dr. Anand Reddy founded Permian Basin Kidney Center with great compassion and commitment to West Texas. He is highly regarded for his exceptional clinical skills and hard-working ethics.
He graduated with honors from Bangalore Medical College, India, and then was awarded Member of Royal College of Physicians (UK). Dr. Reddy is also a fellow of American College of Physicians and Fellow of American Society of Nephrologists. He received several service excellence awards, including Davita Physician Leadership core value and Service, Physician of the Year, Rajiv M Reddy endowment Achievement Award, and Best teaching house staff award among others. He has a wealth of experience in ICU and chronic disease management.
He is recognized as a mentor and an educator for students and trainees. He is a speaker and ambassador for several new innovative drug therapies. He is a strong advocate of patient and physicians rights, implementing protocols for the Texas ESRD network.
Dr. Reddy is a board member of Yeriwah Mega Foundation, and he is leading the Yeriwah Clinic nephrology initiative in The Gambia.
Shylesh Ganta is an internist and has a wealth of experience in treating a variety of disorders and illness. He has been practicing Medicine for more than 30 years. He is affiliated with Midland Memorial Hospital and he is a practicing physician for SignatureMD, offering personalized healthcare plans to patients by focusing on preventative care options for patients to maintain their best health and life.
He is a member of the American board of internal medicine, Texas Medical Association and he is a recipient of several awards, honors, and achievements. He is a board-certified Hypertension Specialist. He worked as an Assistant Professor with TTUHSC, proctoring with internal medicine residents. He is a current member of the National Lipid Association. Dr. Ganta is currently the President and SUB Investigator at the Midland Clinical Research Center.
Dr. Ganta is a board member of Yeriwah Mega Foundation and received his Bachelor of Medicine degree and Bachelor of Surgery from Siddhartha Medical College Vijayawada, NTR, India. He completed three internal medicine programs. Two residency programs were at Edgewater Medical Center, Chicago IL, and his third program was at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa, TX.
Russell R. Tippin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Medical Center Hospital. Prior to this he was the Chief Executive Officer of Permian Regional Medical Center and Home Health/Hospice. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard Payne University and a Master of Business Administration, Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Tippin has a vast experience in hospital administration, health care administration and leadership. He is a recipient of several awards and honors including Becker’s Hospital Review in 2016 and 2017. He also received the Texas hospital associations pioneer award. Russell is an elected board member of Texas Hospital Insurance Exchange and a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.
Russell is also involved in the community in which he lives.
He is a member of Andrews rotary club and Andrews industrial foundation. He is a founding member of Fort Stockton independent school district education foundation and has served on many independent school district and college boards in West Texas.
He is a board member and medical adviser of Yeriwah Mega Foundation.

Quality of life can be defined in so many ways, but in its essence can be distilled into one word, “happiness”.
Society is a collection of individuals who are driven by the basic human values of equity and relationships building and participating in an environment where aspirations are realized through independence of thought, actions and fairness. Health status of a community or society is the basic foundation on which good judgement of the individuals reflects in the values of that society. Center for Disease Control (CDC) has completed 25 years of research stating that “healthy students are successful individuals”. From children to adults, it is imperative that any individual or organization committed and striving to make a community to be self-sustaining in its effort is commendable and needs to be supported. Yeriwah Foundation commitment to improve the quality of health for the citizens of The Gambia is a mission in which a strategic advisory role is defined as a responsibility to provide recommendations to the board with all humility. It is Ravi’s intent and commitment working in collaboration with the other strategic advisors to provide a framework in which the board of the Yeriwah Foundation to evaluate, modify and approve actionable plans with a well-defined outcomes, resource allocation and assignment to individuals or group. Ravi appreciate the opportunity to be part of the Yeriwah Foundation in its effort to make a difference to the citizens of The GambiaJayaram B. Naidu was born in India. He graduated from the Guntur Medical College, NTR University of Health Science, Guntur, A P, India in 1967. Dr. Naidu is an internist and he is president of Naidu Clinic in Odessa, Texas. He has over 41 years in practice and treats multiple conditions including Acute Renal Failure, Anxiety Phobic Disorders, Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Bronchial Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis, Heart Failure, Hypothyroidism, Ischemic Heart Disease and Osteoarthritis among others. Dr. Naidu was appointed to the Texas Medical Board by governor Abbott for 5 years and prior to that he was appointed to Texas Medical review board by Governor Rick Perry from 2012-2016. He also served on Chronic Disease Task force committee from 2010-2013. Dr. Naidu is assistant professor of Internal Medicine of Texas Tech Health science center in Odessa and advisory board member. He also served on the University of Texas Permian Basin development board from 2008-2014. He was director of chamber of commerce, Odessa, Texas from 2007-2015. He currently serves on the governing board of Odessa Regional Medical Center, Odessa, Texas. He is a founding member Alliance Hospital Odessa. Dr. Naidu is a recipient of several awards and distinctions including the Odessa heritage foundation philanthropist and Odessa American for best physician. He is a member of Ector county medical society and Texas medical association. Dr. Naidu lives in Odessa, Texas and is board member and one of the medical directors of Yeriwah Mega Foundation.
Omar Njie was born and raised in The Gambia. He moved to the United States in 2002. He received a Bachelor of Clinical Lab Science from University of Cincinnati and a Master of Clinical Practice Management from Texan Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX. Omar has a broad experience in General Laboratory Medicine and currently works for Parkland Health and Hospital System as a Lab Supervisor. Omar is also involved in community work in Dallas. He is an executive member of Gambian Texas Association. He is a passionate runner and is well known for his initiative to motivate people to get moving. Omar lives in Cedar Hill, Texas and is one of the founding members of Yeriwah Mega Foundation and board member.

Kirit N. Patel practices at Basin Cardiothoracic Surgeon Associates. He specializes in Cardiac Thoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery and has 25 years of practice. Dr. Patel treats several conditions including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Lung Cancer, and Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm. He also performs several other procedures including Lung Biopsy, Removal Procedures on the Lungs and Pleura, Thoracoscopy, Coronary Artery Bypass Endarterectomy, Heart Valve Procedures, Pacemaker and Defibrillator Procedures and Thrombo-endarterectomy of the Peripheral Arteries.
Dr. Patel is a recipient of many awards and achievements. He recently received an achievement award performing 5000 heart surgeries and counting. He has a wealth of experience in this field and brought many innovations in the cardiovascular field. He helped innumerable patients in Permian Basin and West Texas live longer and happier lives.
He graduated from the SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1993. Dr. Patel is affiliated with Medical Center Hospital, Midland Memorial Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center. He is a board member and the surgical director of Yeriwah Mega Foundation.

Sajjadul Islam was born in Bangladesh.Dr. Islam graduated from the Dhaka Med Coll, Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 1973. He is a nuclear radiologist and operates his own practice at West Texas Imaging Center in Odessa, Texas. Dr. Islam has been in practice for 44 years and specializes in Diagnostic Radiology and he is affiliated with Medical Center Hospital. He is a board member and currently serves as medical director of Yeriwah Mega Foundation.
Mass Cham was born and raised in The Gambia. He moved to the United States in 2003. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s of science degree in Clinical Lab Science and received his Master’s in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX. He currently works as a Pathology Patient Services Manager at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Mass is an ASCP certified Clinical Lab Scientist and has extensive experience in lab medicine. Mass is also involved in community development in Dallas, Texas. He is an executive member of Gambian Texas Association. Mass currently lives in Fate, Texas. Mass is one of the founding members of Yeriwah Mega Foundation and serves as the Secretary..

Satish Nayak is a practicing Family physician, obstetrician, and gynecologist at Nayak Clinic. He received his medical degree in 1971 from J.N. Medical College in India. He completed his residency at St Joseph’s Medical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Medicine, Texas Association of Family Physicians, and the Texas Medical Association. He is a current board member of the Texas Medical Board with over 30 years of experience as a physician and he is a recipient of several awards.
Dr. Nayak, is a founding member and the vice president of the Yeriwah Mega Foundation and current Chair of the Board. He is also a trustee for the Hindu Association of West Texas. He received a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Karnataka University, a Doctor of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Mangalore University, a Doctor of Medicine in family medicine from Westchester County Medical Center, and a Doctor of Medicine in Transitional Medicine from the University of Maryland.
