Yeriwah conversation started in the office of Dr. Satish Nayak with Famara Singhateh over a meeting in early 2015. The vision was to advance healthcare and improve the health conditions of the people of The Gambia with focus on underserved and vulnerable people. The idea was to make yearly or bi-annual short term medical mission trips and help bring healthcare to the doors of underserved and vulnerable people with focus on The Gambia.
Yeriwah Mega Foundation was formed on December 11, 2015 and incorporated as a Nonprofit Organization in the State of Texas on January 4, 2016.
